The future of TV is an app !!

New OTT app-based video services are set to flood the market in 2015, pushing more high-quality video to the mobile masses.

As this happens, viewing share will shift from television to devices like smartphones and tablets, both within and beyond the home. This means not only a turn from legacy to broadband delivery, but entails a fundamental transformation of the viewing experience; a shift from social viewing in front of large-screen televisions to solitary viewing in front of smaller screens. The impact on the platform viewing mix will be profound.
